Forgive me Sachin ..!

I’ve arrived ... my first breath ...
It was my first glimpses of blurred colors...There is a light ahead, but not able to see ...
My first day in earth...Difficult to open my eyes...
Where am I now?
Mum?
Are you there?
I feel hungry? Am i alone or i have siblings ?
Yes i have ...
I feel the warmth of my siblings ( yet to know whether its my brother or sister as i am yet to open my eyes fully)
hei whoz that ? someone is licking my ears...eyes... limbs...i feel so warmth and good...thats my brother... Hei Bro..Hw u doing dude?
My basic instinct allowed me to crawl and couple of minutes later, i have done my first dine along with my siblings...
Mum ...Can you tell me how earth looks ?
Are we alone on earth or some other creatures are there?
When can i see you Mum?
It seems like i have to wait for couple of days to get a clear vision...
After a week... i have seen the first image of my MUM...my mum looks so pretty and cute...and now i see 2 more fellows...Are those my sisters and brothers?
They are like me...but my brother is very active...and then i came to know that he is elder to me and my sister is younger to me...
We had a nice time ...My Mum takes care of us a lot and wont let us go out anywhere away from her...
Where is Dad ? Is he gone for getting some food or busy in looking for another lady?
MuM ...
What are you doing?
It’s warm against her body
Feeling safe with the others
Why are we all different?
...........
.......................
I’m moving – but not with paws
It’s one of those human beings
The little one is nearing ...
The kid look at us and choosing which one to take ?
What is all this that I’m seeing?
Mum! Why are you staying? plz mum..do something...
I’m being taken by the others
We’re moving away and they’re looking at me ..
I saw my mum facing worst day of her life... barking like anything with tears in the eyes...trying to protect the other pups...
Now I’ll never see my Mother...
Ow! A sharp pain in my leg
A hug from the human one ...
He feeds me and plays with me ...
Perhaps this life could be fun
Funny – they touch with their mouths
They talk to a thing by their ears
They wear clothes and eat with sticks
Have they done this for all these years?
They move along in metal things
They watch things in a square
And listen to noises from a box
I’ve got Fur – they have Hair
I’m supposed to be a Human’s Best Friend ... but they never think my best friends are my fellow creatures...
Will i get a another sweet warm lick from my Brother... Will i ever play with my sister ?
I want to play in the streets...i want to roam on the road...
Am living a luxury life...in a golden cage...rich food and pleasure time with human ones... Is that my life?
Don't i have my own world? my own imagination ?
..............
.................
we never bothered whethr you're abled or disabled or whatever colour your skin...for us , you're just another kin.
we love you for you, just as you are ...And for the love that you give back...
We live for your smiles and your cuddles ...That's all w require, from the leader of ur pack.
We don't care if you are older ...And your joints, may creak and ache ...We never let our old ones live on old age homes...we live together wherever we live ..!

We have such adoration for you ,There's no need to change for us.
When you see 2 dogs barking each other in hidden place...Dont think we talk about you !!! We aren't human beings to do such silly things... 'tis true!

We Never mind your sexuality ... we never have race difference..we dont even knw wht is caste, creed, color... we know only the colors of love...you only categorized us with various breed, caste etc...it makes no difference for us...but thats the major difference b/w you and us...

We love you, no matter what, you see ...Without question, or significance...Thats why we are called as Human's Best Friend...But are you like this to us ???

I belong to the family – I do
Some think I’m a dumb animal
From what I’ve seen – so are you Mr Prabhu!
.......
............Whether you thought like this or not..but Forgive me Sachin ... i cant give back ur Mum but i can give you the Love at the Max i can..!

P.S. Sachin is my new PuP :-)

Why Change Management?

Without knowing how things are organized in your environment and how they relate to each other, it’s hard not only to make team decisions but also to deploy business factors.
Every function does some change, like defect, development and enhancement.

Change management and IT asset management are the two practices that can deliver the biggest and quickest potential gains both in terms of reduced cost and improved efficiency.
For e.g.; you go for a meeting to discuss about earlier release and new release. You need to have track of earlier changes and current. Would you take spread sheet and do all manual process to stuff the data inside. Then I would say you are late buddy, your release date would have been gone past already before you step into pre release meeting J

Poor Change Management:
Even though you have CM in process, but a poor management will have no impact on business results.

Loss of employee productivity leads to increased audit fees and production fines which further leads to lost revenue, market share and finally the loss of customer confidence. Are you ready to risk all these factors?

So you agree with me and already analyzed to go for a change management tools. Sounds good, but have a pit stop and think about the factors induce poor management of change control tools before proceeding further.

Here goes… Factors like unauthorized changes, unplanned outages, low change success rate, high number of emergency changes, delayed project implementations.
So remember change management doesn’t mean that just version controlling of code snippets. It broadens to all the factors above and it penetrates to project management too.

Process Definition:
We define process and you follow it.
Here is a simple example,
IT budgeting and strategy will be split in the following way.70% of the budget actually spent just on keeping the light on J (Just maintenance and support- I mean the operations). 10 % for strategy and 20% for application. What happen there is you just fuelling the engine to run and not reinvesting to maximize the profit margin? So what you have to do here is to automate the some of the IT operation piece of change, to be able to shift those cost out of operation and reinvest them to fuel your strategic initiatives and this brings the IT operations as value center align with the business. Here comes the change management to help you. This frees you to focus on your business.

So talking about IT operation, basically your Service or Helpdesk is the starting point of that and occupies 40 to 50 %. Performance and availability covers around 20 % and our guy change management to 40 %. But when we look at where companies are starting to move, really there are focusing on CM and one of hard area and pain in the nose for them.

The Road Map:

Let me put up a question for you, what process or plan you are going to implement on this year?

Is it on service desk, incident or problem management, change configuration and release management, only configuration management, marketing strategy, resource utilization? May be you don’t have any plans at all this time and planning to surviveJ. Let me come to the point you would have rated nearly 70% for change config and release management followed by incident /problem management and service desk. Am I right?

Hmm slowly am getting into your mind. So optimize your business success by managing change and configuration management together. Still you won’t abide with me! Then just give me the solution for this. How do you deploy a software update or critical patches to thousands of devices in a single day? 15 thousands in a month, bunch of defects which almost equal t the entire Hartford population etc etc. This will take you up to 4 to 6 months to do it by manual. Here comes the process and the automation of change management. Got it buddy!

Now you want to know what is change management and the life cycle or the architecture behind this. See you are on the same road and asking about CM. Welcome to the party..!
CM life cycle will be split into Plan, Deliver and operate. Every face of SDLC have change management tools to take control. They vary from specific area expertise like defect, version control, build or end to end CM tool. So you are hitting every part of the SDLC. You are having fun!

You have various CM tools like Rational ClearCase, HP change management, SVN, CVS, StarTeam which are widely used depend upon project structure.

Is it Repeatable process?

And at one point of time, people feel that CM is a repeatable process. I model it, schedule it, get approval, implement, verify and deploy it. The same work i do everyday and where is the fun part. Then i say it’s not the way of doing work. Always ask What, When, Where, How and Why? Everyday you will get different answers and you are back to business. We're riding a bus and the driver is assuring us that he knows where he's going. Game on..!

As mentioned on the beginning, the impact of CM will be better business decisions and successful deployment of business product.

P.S: Need expert comments…Here we are…Center of Excellence!!!

Outsourcing - The Hide & Seek Game ..!

Outsourcing - The hottest cake in the platter and mystery for the mysterious.

What happens in the global job market bcoz of outsourcing and what will happen of cutting down its scale? Who will suffer and who gain by this? Let’s play the Hide and Seek game to find out the truth behind the mystery word 'Outsourcing'.

Stock market crash, recession, inflation, economic crisis etc etc all happens in U.S which leads to one more term called scaling down the Outsourcing..!

When you go back on calendar to 1995, the president of Information Technology Association of America, Harris N. Miller said “The result (of outsourcing) is more American jobs, higher wages and a faster growing economy overall... Global sourcing continues to be a net positive for American workers and the US economy" - so in 2005.

Look at the contradiction now. What the 2009 presidential candidates Obama and Clinton had to say about outsourcing recently, "Number one, we still provide tax breaks to companies that are sending jobs overseas. Let's put an end to that practice. We may not be able to stop a company from moving, but we can stop from providing him incentives to move"! This is what I call the heights of ignorance.

First of all US companies are NOT doing any favor to India by outsourcing their jobs here. It’s a straightforward business compulsion which every company has to face due to the increased competition as a result of globalization.

Its strange to observe that on the one hand the US doesn’t wants developing economies like India, china to provide any subsidies to their farmers (to face US competition), it wants India to open up its markets even wider for American companies, and at the same time they want to discourage American companies from outsourcing their jobs to India! Come on guys, you cant have it both ways, can you? :). See how the US politicians have poor knowledge about outsourcing and economic strategy..!

The allegation against outsourcing in America and Europe is that it results in a job loss in the outsourcing countries with the jobs moving into the outsourced countries.Yes of course, that’s the very basic definition of outsourcing.

Does outsourcing result in a net job loss? Of course not. The jobs that are outsourced from US to India indeed come back to US in a bigger magnitude.

How?

Look at this simple example. Initially when the computers came to India in the 1980s people protested saying, if computers start doing stuff like accounting, automated data entry etc, then the Indians will be losing millions of jobs as India is a nation which rely on huge manpower. Did they lose? Yes. But at the same time alternate jobs got created in the form of computer programmers, hardware industry, software industry, computer operators, IT divisions, computer training institutes, computer lecturers etc!! So there was no real truth in the allegation that computers would create a massive job loss. Just the nature of the jobs changed, that was it.
Similarly, when it comes to US and European outsourcing to India, outsourcing enables the American companies to reduce their manufacturing costs. Reduced costs mean less expensive products and services at the same quality, which in turn means ability to enter even bigger growing markets like that of India.

Because of outsourcing more jobs were created in India, in turn this created a booming economy and an increased buying power in India, and this not only reduced manufacturing costs for American companies but also gave them access to a bigger market inside India since even Indians started buying American products because of their increased purchasing power! This in turn created more job opportunities within US too! A study conducted by Global Insight showed that in 2005 alone 257,042 net new jobs were created in US due to outsourcing! Look at the growing presence of american companies in the Indian market today.

Those who want to stop outsourcing should also stop their companies from entering the markets of India. Can they? :) While the entire American population is just over 300 million, in India just the number of youth who are below the age of 25 is over 550 million, and the country is growing younger day by day! Who is benefiting from the widening buyer base of this Indian youth? Of course companies from all over the world including US and Europe which are entering this market. Look at the growing number of American companies that are entering India every day. Automobiles, mobiles, retail, hardware, software, soft drinks, fast food, you name the sector and there are multinational companies in India in that sector. Doesn’t this simply mean more jobs in America and Europe too?

In a more positive slant, 28 percent of the surveyed companies said offshoring had allowed them to create new and better types of jobs in the U.S. According to a Wharton School participant in the study, job displacement related to offshoring accounts for a “relatively small proportion” of annual U.S. job turnover. So literally U.S citizens are not losing any of their jobs. It’s just the hot topic for the politicians to claim more votes.

Outsourcing doesn’t meant that going for cheaper rates. Well, there is a difference between being cheap and inexpensive. For instance, Chinese toys are cheap, but Indian IT services are inexpensive. When its cheap, the quality suffers, and when it is inexpensive it doesn’t. Obviously when Yahoo or Google outsource to India, they don’t want the quality of their products/services to suffer! Isn’t it?

Now we have another story rising that Bush started complaining (literally crying) about increase in food price is bcoz of Indian’s consuming healthy and nutritious food. It’s surprising that all the U.S presidents are always dumb fellows who doesn’t know about silly things and is not aware of all these facts, and this is same in the case of new presidential candidates too! For if you don’t understand the basics of today's global economy, then you are bound to spell disaster on your own economy. Imagine Indian general public starting to say that they want US companies out of Indian markets!

Let’s come back to the job opportunities created directly by Indian companies in US. The Tata Group, Ranbaxy, Mahindra USA, Bharat Forge, ITC Kitchens, HCL America - all Indian companies, have created thousands of jobs in America! Tata Group alone employs over 5000 Americans! Ranbaxy is creating jobs in North Carolina, New Jersey and Florida. From Illinois alone the exports to India have more than doubled in the last four years creating more job opportunities in that state.

American firns like Federal Forge, Eight O'Clock Coffee etc that were on the verge of bankruptcy were saved by the Indian firms which acquired and revived them. What about these saved jobs by the Indian firms?

San Francisco-based McKinsey Global Institute, an independent research group with McKinsey & Co. reported that in 2002 alone, for every dollar spent on offshoring, US derived a value of $1.47. The report also said that "For every dollar of spend offshored, offshore service providers buy an additional five cents worth of goods and services from the US economy".

"If you deprive yourself of outsourcing and your competitors do not, you're putting yourself out of business." Just imagine that if US companies do not outsource, then their costs will be higher than that of companies from other countries which do outsourcing, which in turn means reduced market share for American companies, and then these other companies will also enter US and offer services and products at rates inexpensive compared to their American counterparts, and so finally even within America the American companies will be unable to compete. And then finally, along with an existing cry against outsourcing to India, there will also be a cry in US against allowing foreign companies into US market. In other words, a demand for total international isolation in terms of doing business!

So "What do you think would the American companies would opt for when the profits they earn by outsourcing to India is 20 times more than the profits earned by the tax breaks offered to them by the US government for not outsourcing to India? And also, where does the US government get the money from, to offer those tax breaks? Already US is the world's larger debtor with about $30000 per head on every American citizen!"

Similarly does the US policy of reducing the scale of outsourcing leads to job loss for Indian professionals? I say No again. The current situation seems like we are losing jobs. Wait for couple of months or a year and we'll rock again. If somebody thinks that today Indians are scared of losing jobs if outsourcing is stopped, well not really, for we have both our own big companies as well as bigger market. It’s the American and European companies that need access to the Indian markets. Already Indian companies are slowly reducing their dependency on american clients, so as to shield themselves from any possible US economic slowdown. U.S. companies account for three-quarters of India’s outsourcing business, leading Indian companies like Infosys and Wipro to expand their presence in other parts of the world as slowing economic conditions cause some U.S. clients to delay major IT projects. So either way scaling down of outsourcing or the recession in U.S doesn’t bother Indian firms over a large period of time.

So by this second, stick to the same firm and forgot about switchover, no matter you get only single digit hike or your project manager is arrogant or no good looking girls in the team :-)

I wonder why everyone is so much concerned, directly or indirectly about outsourcing and businesses from US. This is a chance for India to do something that it doesn’t ever need to depend on US economy to boost ours!

Let us imagine there is NO U.S....that’s it. Only those who think that we cant live without US business are concerned about it... Others simply don’t care now, because we know that its they who need us, and we have other multiple options too. Compared to the size of Indian population US is a very small market, they only consume like hell killing all natural resources and the planet along with it.

My New RoomMate ..!

What people think of India!

Recently i come across an article in rediff posted by a Desi living in Texas which states how the lack of information made people having wrong opinion about India. I felt the same over here. What people think about India is much more frightening. Surprisingly, many people out there do not know much about our country -- something that became evident that how outside world think about India and lack of history and information made them unaware about what actual India is?

I felt very disappointed about how others think about India and why we aren’t spreading the culture, tradition and good things about our nation. We not only came here to earn but also came as ambassadors of the most sacred nation in this world. It’s our duty to present our country’s good aspects to all the fellow Human beings of this planet.

There are just too many stereotypes about Indian people and about India. They think that,

India is poor. All Indians are Hindu. Indian roads are bad. People live on streets. Many Indian villages don’t have electricity. People see the videos and channels telecast online which depicted that the lives of people in India who were uneducated and under-nourished. Why don’t the media telecast good things about our country rather than always stick to poor things and make money by selling the bad info about the nation. It’s like selling your own **********.

Is India poor and bad? And the answer for this is a firm "No”. Although one can see poor people living on the streets, this was definitely not the case for everyone in India. India is full of smart and competent people who can rival the smartest in America and other nations. Not everyone in India is poor. There are many people who are very rich. India also has an influential middle class population. Poverty is more evident in India because it has one of the largest populations in the world (over 1 billion); if India had a lower population then it would probably have less poverty.

And some parts of India experience power outages often, but electricity is not a rare commodity. Even though India has power outages the government is coming up with ideas to solve that problem. New power plants, nuclear power plants and lot of initiatives were taken and implemented well. "India has invested a lot of money into generating renewable power. It currently ranks as the 3rd largest wind energy producer and is advancing in other renewable resources,”

All should know that there are so many talented people in IT, medicine, science, technology which is almost equal to the population of big countries!

India gave ‘Zero ‘to the world. Indian civilization is one of the ancient and modern civilizations. India is the land of origin of medicine, technology. If you tell me, don’t live with your history, then I can say that present India has much more talent than the past. India is the fastest growing economy (In the GDP analysis). When you take elite club of nations in all aspects, India will be a default name in that list. You know everything but wearing a sunglass will make you unaware of the sunlight!

There is no part of land in this planet left over without the foot steps of an Indian.

I found a great optimism and zest for life in current India. They say India is a failure -- day and night. But how can a billion people are doing the wrong thing? India can do it; we just need have more faith in ourselves... Imagine if a billion people have even a tiny bit of more faith in the country and themselves.. Miracles needn't be only in fairy tales. India is the youngest country in the average age of human population and all this youth power explodes in coming decades to make the country as a supreme power in all aspects. This is the reality going to happen and not a day dream or expectation.

I see many of my friends came here to U.S are planning to settle down here itself and simply telling the vague reasons like more money, comfort living, high technology etc etc. Why don’t you guys earn well come back to India and make your country the way you want to be. This is not a senti dialogue or a philosophical note. Be practical and accept the fact that you are making a big big mistake!

And I have to mention that, some people over here knew good aspects about India too. I myself hear many of them say “I want to go to India because it’s exotic and amazing”. They love our culture, tradition. Our hospitality, our growth. People here are addicted to Indian cuisines. They wonder about the young aspirants of India and etc etc…

So you too now make a list of what are the things that make you love her? India...?

Next time someone asks about India, make sure that you give right info and make them understood their views of India were wrong and they should envy us that we came from a great nation. Your friends might have wrong views of India, so ask them what they know about India and quickly clear up their confusion.

I want to remind you all that India is the country which Rules the World in Future and the future is not so far. And I will be so happy to tell that i live in the generation where India rules the world.

I am spreading the word out for our beloved country and join hands with me guys!

How Mood Ring Works?

Recently I have bought a new Mood Ring (as I hv lost some nd my frnds took few when I was in India - its avail in Dollars & Pounds). I was about to write How it works? But someway missed out and as my laptop s idle for couple of hours, plnd 2 text it before the cooling fan start grunting grrrrrrrrr…

The stone in a mood ring is either a hollow glass shell filled with thermotropic liquid crystals, or a clear glass stone sitting on top of a thin sheet of liquid crystals these liquid crystal molecules are very sensitive; they change position, or twist, according to changes in temperature. This change in molecular structure affects the wavelengths of light that are absorbed or reflected by the liquid crystals, resulting in an apparent change in the color of the stone.

The inside of the ring conducts heat from your finger to the liquid crystals in the "stone." The color green, which signifies "average" on the mood ring color scale, is calibrated to the surface temperature of a typical person, approximately 82 degrees Fahrenheit (28 degrees Celsius). If your surface temperature varies far enough from the norm, then the liquid crystals in the stone alter enough to cause a change in the color reflected. And if you take a mood ring off, it will normally change to black unless the ambient temperature is very high.

Take a look at the Mood Ring colors listed below, and what "mood" they represent. The colors are listed according to the change in temperature they represent, with dark blue being the warmest and black the coolest.
· Dark blue: Happy, romantic or passionate – Day dreaming ah :-)
· Blue / Light Purple: Calm /relaxed, sharp, witty. - You are a cool guy. I like it buddy!!!
· Blue-green: Somewhat relaxed. You’re feeling good and not much will get you down today! You think this info is amusing !!!
· Green: Normal or average – A little on Edge? Little edgy is ok? If everyone is stepping on your Toes, put on shoes!
· Amber: A little nervous or anxious – Things will get better. Its time for Comfort food. Cookies, Chips, Ice Cream! In small portions. Who will know? Keep Cookies in Cupboard, Ice Cream in Freezer. Be Philosophical :-).
· Gray: Very nervous or anxious
· Black: Stressed, tense or feeling harried – Count to 10! Go for a walk! Have a glimpse of your office Crush! This mood will pass! Just stay from me until it does :-)

However, the amount of thermotropic liquid crystals in a mood ring was so small that it couldn't measure with any amount of accuracy what your real mood was. You'd have to be really, really angry to get the stone to reflect your true body temperature. And also due to fluctuations in the manufacturing of the rings by various companies the above colors are not considered universal. It is also worth noting that variations between different people's bodily temperatures and the environmental influences on the thermotrophic crystals may make mood rings somewhat unreliable.

In the end, they were just a neat fad, and a kitschy piece of jewelry that was fun to wear.

Truly groovy…

  • Is India ruling the Cricket World?

At present, everyone says yes!!! And I love to hear these words.

Cricket world is ruled by England & other countries over a long period of time. Asian countries were treated like underdogs and no favors have been done till now to improve the sport in this part of the world.

The rise of India, Pakistan and Srilanka happened inside and they stood up by themselves without any help from outside world.

Every time ICC treats the Asian countries in a bad manner and the players got punished without having clear evidence. But when it comes to other cricketing nations, players were allowed to do all sort of things other than playing cricket in right spirit (sledging, jellybean stories etc etc).
That’s overdose now and let we make them to taste their own medicine. The Recent Sydney incident is a height of arrogance.

We are the richest cricket board in the world and the ball won’t move without our bat. It’s time to dominate, its time to show we are Giant Dragons. Let BCCI won’t bother about others who complain it acting like a big brother. We heard a lot and its time to give back, with more interest rate :-).

As peter roebuck says, India must stop being defensive.

It has a mighty story to tell, a functioning democracy created from a chequered history, a nation built in a generation, temples and mosques sitting side by side in so many cities. Nor does its cricket history justify the comment made not long ago by a white opponent that "all Asian cricketers are f---ing cheats." Please can First World newspapers dust off all articles published between 1901 and 2001 deploring the manner in which Anglo-Saxon interests dominated the game?

Suddenly India is ruling the roost and the boys are worried about monopolies and cultural hegemony. It is a bit late for that.

You let the dragon to fire back. So feel the heat..! And I say tis is not enuf draggie …

A Good company to Pass Eternity ...

It was yet another Freezing morning in Hartford. I was on my way to office, vyth layered dress up - Thermal wear+ Formal wearing + Woollen sweater & Jerkin as a top layer ... :-)
I saw 2 extinguised cigarettes which are half buried on the trash sand on the street. It looks like 2 Human bodies buried next to each other in parallel. One day this will become true as a result of smoking. I was worried about those two souls.

Didnt they knew about the worth of life...

Didnt they knew abt the outcome of smokin...

What about their families? Their future ...

The cigar between the 2 fingers looks like fire of life , glowed with sacrifice. They were mercilessly quenched and leading to kinda suicide attempt ..!

Tat puff of smoke at the max will give some warmth on a snowy day to kill the winter / tension. There is a life beyond the winter. You have summer, autumn, spring to enjoy guys.

Dont you want to see colors of life?. Will they come out of illusion world !!!

Trying my level best 2 tell all my frnds abt tis & it wud be gr888 to see @least a single soul listen to these words...

And sometin to pen down in the form of poetic words ...

    Happy Ending :-)

    Epilogue:
April 3, 2018 … Later the life of Yagnika and Aryan is colorful one.

Yagnika got married and settled in Chennai with her hubby.
Aryan is still the same mischievous guy settled down in Bangalore with his wife. He got bored of the software job and joined as a Strategic Manager in Indus International School in Bangalore. Probably readers can meet them again as Guests in the upcoming stories.

Yagnika Strikes - Part 8 (Mitt Gayi Dhooriyaan )

Aryan lost the consciousness and slowly the pulse rate gone down and left his brain in dire stages. He was in the later stages of fits and his arms and legs paralyzed with blood started flowing across the street further.

Yeakssss. Yagnika got shocked about the bad dream she had and prayed god that nothing should happen to him. Is that the inner instinct warning her?She immediately called Aryan, ended up with the Voice message. She tried to call his friends to enquire but not reachable.

There in Minnesota, August 4, The Central Connecticut hospital…

The latenite patrol found Aryan on the Roadside and admitted in the hospital and informed his friends. Shankar rushed to see him unconscious in the bed where the group of doctors are discussing with each other.

Dr Pat: Are you Aryan’s friend?
    shankar: Yah.This is Shankar here.
Dr Pat: Nothing serious. He just had blood clot in the skull and few fractures in leg. A minor operation will dissolve the blood clot. But he must be in monitoring atleast for 2 weeks.
Shankar: Tats fine doc. Shall we see him now.
Dr Pat: No dude. We are going to operate now. Probably you can see him tomorrow morning.
    Shankar: TX doc.
The next day started with all sort of formalities. Aryan got up and saw all those band aids over his body like printer cartridges.
Shankar, Dinesh, Deepak, Sravanthi all stood there with the sarcastic smile.
Dinesh: Dude, what happened yesterday? Did you go behind any girl and stuck on the road.
~A: Hei common guys. Notin like tat.
Deepak: Else did you go for a Sky diving and fallen from the sky? Useless tell us the truth.
~A: Hei i was just on the way to Shankar’s home da.
Shankar: Tats fine buddy, but is my home is in the middle of the Road. What would you do if something happened serious? Just you got away with fractures.
~A: Okei chill out guys. And dinesh check out my pant da, I had a Gourmet Irish chocolate in that.
    Dinesh: stop it man.
~A: Hei pls da. Just a bite.
Shankar: Btw. Whts your plan for Birthday man.
Deepak: Hei when is your Bday?
~A: It’s Aug 20. Forget about that da.
Shankar: Hei what happenned?. You will get lot of gifts.
~A: Give me the chocolate first man.
Dinesh: don’t change the topic. What happened to you? Do you feel that you won’t get discharged b4 that? Cool dude. For a change, we can celebrate this time in hospital. We will present you syringes, syrups, tablets. Might be we will steal the hi fi medical equipment and gift you.
~A: Okei…do whatever as you wish. Leave me.
Vikka: ok take rest, ciao later.Everyone started leaving the place…
~A: Shankar did I got any call.
Shankar: No man, mobile was crushed in the accident spot itself.
~A: Did any of my friends called you.
Shankar: You want to know whether Yagnika called you or not. Ask directly dude and havent received any call from her.
~A: not like that man. Actually we had some arguments yesterday and she just told me that she will never call me or see me anymore. So forget about that. That’s why I told you am not interested to celebrate this birthday.
Shankar: shall I call her da.
~A: No da. She never allows any mediator and I don’t want to tell her about this accident. She might feel guilty as because of her only this happened. So let the life go on its way.
    Shankar: are you sure ?
~A: Yep. Aryan was recovering slowly. It was good time in hospital with all sort of fun with doctors and pantry guys.
    August 13, 2 PM.
    Shankar came with a parcel.
Aryan: Whats that dude? Any gift for me.
Shankar: Alaiyaadha. Of course it’s a gift from your sister Vidu.
Aryan: Unwrap and check out whats in that da.Before that shall we have a bet and the bet will be, if I won ‘you have to owe me 1 KG of candies’ else I will take you to the Nick Barron’s concert at Joe's Pub.
Shankar: You don’t know anything beyond candies. Ok fine.
Aryan: The gift will be a book. Since she knows my wish list and flavors.
Shankar: hmm lets see.. and it iss …you're right man.
Aryan: wow. Is it tinkle comicsssss…Sweet sister she is.
Shankar:Its not tinkle, it’s ”The greatness guide” from Robin Sharma.
Aryan: Oh ok. Anyways I heard that’s a nice book. Phone calls, meet ups and all happened on the eve of the birthday. Aryan’s inner mind woke up and asked “Will Yagnika call me atleast for the Birthday. Hope she will!!!”
    It’s August 14, midnite 12 AM…

    Yagnika Strikes: Part 7

    Frozen Thoughts!!!

It was -15 degrees in Minnesota and Aryan is having a Sauvignon Blanc. Mobile giggles by Yagnika’s call.

~Y: Hei man. How are you ? Whats up thr?
~A: Notin specific yaar. It’s too cold and am just having SB.
~Y: Useless who asked you to have that. I told you no drinks, no candies.
~A: Hei whats this. Too much restriction. Then how will I overcome such chillness. Sometimes it goes to – 30 too.
~Y: Grab your winter wear and lie down on bed man.
~A: Halo. It’s quite impossible. BTW I just thought of having Pedigree :-)
~Y: What???!!! You Dumbo. Are you mad?
~A: Might be :-). U know I used 2 take a very little pinch of Pedigree when I feed my Pup and my pup used to have Dairy milk when I have it.
~Y: u r crazyyy fellow. It’s difficult to tell who human being is and who is dog.
    ~A: okei Kewl.
~Y: Ok tell me why no calls, no mails from you. You had forgotten me entirely na. I know you guys are always like this. More gals, More fun. That’s why you forgot me .
~A: Ok then why you showed Ego. If not me, you should have called me Na.
~Y: What the hell you are talking. I don’t have any ego. This shows that you are not interested to talk to me.
~A: You have your own set of friends. That’s why you hadn’t called me. See am the loser am. Since you are the only good and best friend for me and if you don’t talk to me I feel hurt. But you have many friends and you spend time with them. When you finally got bored and felt what to do, you call me.
~Y: You mean to say am jobless. You are not listening to me.

Meanwhile Aryan took the Jerkin and started walking on the Kensington Street to meet his frnd Shankar. It’s quite dark and zero visibility on the road.

~A: Yag. Common understand me. Did I told that you are not listening to me and avoiding me. Am going to see Vikram yaar. Catch you later na.
~Y: So you are going to disconnect the call, that’s why telling like that.
~A: Ok kewl . Sorry. I understand you very well. Sorry if I had done anytin wrong. You know onetin there are lot of candies avail here and it tempts me and I buy a lot. Still I take few candies from that bunch and keep it in my runner and throw it away to keep your promise atleast to some extent but you wont understand my love.
~Y: Enuf buddhu. Don’t make me fool. Am frustrated and cant tolerate with you.“ It is Better to Depart, instead of Staying Apart “

~A: If this is ur wish. Am there 2 fulfill it as ur Best Friend. Even tomorrow you will be my Best friend but I don’t know whether am your Best friend!
~Yag: Remember I won’t be there to see you when you come back to India. Good bye.

Aryan was very disappointed and struck on the road with his arms and legs freezed.

A truck was approached on the blind corner and the truck driver not able to see clearly where Aryan exactly standing on the road tried his level best to avoid.

He just saw the truck just before the collision.

It just hit him on the road and went off. He fell down with the Frozen Thoughts!!!

I don’t sleep much, but when I do, I do it very, very well. I’m a championship sleeper. And a world class dreamer. Is this the permanent sleep?

They just moved to their respective apartments planning to meet on next evng.

The following morning Aryan got an early start and started to the office. Usual KT session, Roles and Responsibilities were drawn out and tasks were assigned for the upcoming days.
Homesick attacked for a while and the typical feelings of india started...
Wish i can hold ur hand and walk along… like the walk to Candy shop
Wish i can hear those encouraging words… as u lift me up from low spirits
Wish i can take you out in our car… while i drive n u jus sit back (tensed )
Wish i can be unwrapped from this virtual connection… (for a change, internet sucks)
Wish i can taste the flavour of your fingers… when u feed me
Wish i can feel the warmth of your lap… when i rest on u
Wish i can see the joy in your eyes… when we meet again
Wish i can just be there… with u… at home…
Mummy, i miss you a lot...

Stressed. Dejected. Home sick. Badly wanting to see my parents…
Am counting down days to catch my flight back home… till then, lets hope things go well.. New year is comin up soon.. not yet got new candy flavors… no plans.. once i am done with my first level of onsite assignment on 26th evening.. things will fall in place… Anyways… am still the motivated and enthu kid around in the deserted minnesota in spite of all the commotion… am happy with myself in that sense… gaining inspiration from thy self! That's exactly wat keeps me goin thru such tuf times… Life suddenly seems to be pickin up pace… and i am enjoying the run.. Join along peps!!!!!!!
He called up home immediately and talked to his mum.
Meanwhile his Dad told "Hei i told about the girl na, actually She is from CTS, mistakenly told it as TCS. Will let you know rest of the details soon".
Oh My Goodness…Bankra bangayi mein .
Aryan called Yagnika immediately and updated about Srav and how Dad made him Bakra and rest.Aryan dont know that it was Yagnika who told aryan's Dad to play this game

    Episode 9 – Dangerous Girl

    You've gotta mail from Yagnika.
Aryan got excited by the pop up message and opened it carefully so that even the mail link won’t get hurt by the mouse click.
Useless fellow. why no mails, no calls. How dare u dumbo. you forgot me and roaming behind Sravanthi !!!
"….and remember? Not once have u tried to console me when I was low when you left me alone.
Are you taking food properly, stay away from the candies else you will lose all your teeth before turning 30.
You remember those golden days, we had fighting’s with each other and we went for Rational training at that time.
“On the first day in the Rational trng, our instructor made you naughty boy sit next to me.
It was the worst day of my life, or atleast i thought. We spoke little. Not even a part of our course material or a speck of eraser dust would be allowed to fall on the others desktop. And then, next day it happened.

You came to training room with a sling supporting your hand. I was instructed by the Instructor to help you take down notes and so, I reluctantly obliged.
That day, over lunch, I softly asked you, "How did u manage to get this fracture?"You smirked at me and said, "I thought this would be a cool excuse to make you take down notes for me!" The next moment, you found yourself holding the tooth in your palm and said, "Thath thooth haz bin shakin for a wik now. Dhanks for gettin itt off!" While one half insisted that you deserved it, the other half was shocked and guilty with the turnover of events. While i apologized to you, You winked at me and said, "Dangerous girl!" It was the first time you planned to come with all sort of guard's to office

I was angry with you for telling me as Dangerous girl and to change the topic you told me that , "OMG! Look at your cheeks!! So damn red! Were you preparing to act as a clown in the circus?" I glared back at you and you continued, "Now come on. Stop this. Else I am going to start on how your pony is beginning to curl behind your back. See I can even hang my Laptop in it!!" You pulled my pony and well anticipating my reaction, prepared for a dash. My cheeks turned red with anger. I had sprinted behind you along the corridors and down the staircase, until we finally reached the pantry and i could run no further. You stood jogging at a safe distance from me, laughing."

    Back 2 Real world …

I loved the way you teased me those days, laughed at my ponytail, trying to cheer me up at those times. I guess this is all as much true today as it was that day. Those seemed like fleeting moments of eternal happiness. They came like a shooting star and vanished as quickly. How I wish time froze then. I miss you tons! Take care.

Good luck for your onsite assignment and keep in touch!

P.S. You better not reply in 2 lines like last time. Or else, when we meet during your vacation, you won't go back to Minnesota in the same shape. Like you always say, 'Dangerous girl!'"

Yagnika Strikes - Part 5 (Aankon mein Teri Ajab si Ajab si Adhayein hain)

    Behind the Scenes:

Part 5 - Aankon mein Teri Ajab si Ajab si Adhayein hain:

Finally it was a pleasant departure...

    Yagnika:
    Nerathukku Sapdu
    Vaarathukku moonu naalavathu Kuli
    Andha socks a Thovachu podu
    Nagam kadikatha
    Saamiya vendikko
    Enna parthu kathuko

Aryan: Sari sari manatha vangatha. Tata. Take Care dear.

Finally Lufthansa took off from Chennai and squeezed into the cloudy sky. This is the first birding experience for Aryan to US. The journey will be from Chennai to Frankfurt, Frankfurt to Chicago, and then to the destination city.

The flight from Chennai to Frankfurt was, of course, quite long. But it wasn't unbearable. Aryan watched out the window as they climbed away from Chennai and flew out over the Sea. The water looked clear and peaceful. The land was mostly flat, but they also spotted some impressive cliffs. It was the first time to lay eagles eye on the sea. Aryan looked frantically out the window, but he couldn't see anything. A few minutes later, tried again. This time, he was lucky: there were a few holes in the clouds. Through these holes, he could see magnificent cliffs and coasts. Back to the flight, Aryan was waiting for the air Hostess to have some chocolates And also based on the fact that he heard Israeli women are very Cute. (Note: He discovered that not only are they cute, but they love to flirt as well.)He decided he could use a spot of tea and a bite of something sweet to eat.Once he settled down, mounted his Ear phones to listen to the songs in Ipod, there comes a voice beside him.

Hi, i am Sravanthi from TCS. You are from Cognizant. Am i right?
Aryan: Hei how come you know am frm CTS? Is there any label sticked on my forehead!
Sravanthi: cool. Just had a wild guess by seeing the Ipod (as Ipod is gifted to CTS employees and they always showcase in all places )
    Aryan: Ofcourse i am.
Sh: Nice meeting you. May i know where you are going?
A: Do u expect me to say the place. If so, i am going to other part of the Earth where i had not been there till now (Aryan still now got away from the fact that she had guessed him from the Ipod and they showcasing it outside)
Sh: Hope you are not in good mood. Do you feel embarrassed of the way i identified you?
A: Not really, but the way you told us that we showcase it everywhere makes me irritated.
Sh: kewl. just kidded. Lets be friends. Shake Hands . Thoda sa smile pls cheer up…smile plzzzzzz….little more….arey…just a little more….
    A: eeeeeeee.. enuf
Srav: hei cmon man. cool down. Whats up?
    A: Hmmm…Close up!
    Srav: grrr…nice joke.
A: did i tell it as joke?
Srav: ok forgot it. sorry sorry. chill out buddy.
A: ok fine. Then do onetin. give me whatever chocolates u take from air hostess.
    Srav: Done.
Sravanti's mother had taught her quite a few things about men: She should be wary of those she did not know, polite to those she did, and tough as nails with those who were disrespectful or in any way threatening. But none of these rules seemed to apply in this situation.
She became Friend to Aryan soon bcoz of the quarrel.
Sh:so hws wrk going? whr u r going nw?
A:yah gr88 going. Tat too am in COE and having really innovative tasks. now going to Minnesota.
Sh:Wowwww. am also going there only, but this is second time.

A:Gud.do you have stock options there. are you eligible to buy stocks?
Sh:No idea. Lets forgot abt office for a while na. wht abt ur family?
A: DAD, MUM & a Sis. Having a cute Niece and lots and lots of Pets.
    Sh:Tats gr888.
A:You know my Niece is so cute and naughty. Let me show you her snaps and clippings

Srav:Hei she is so cute. Do tell me when you call up your home next time. I will talk to her. Whats your Hobbies?
A: notin specific. Write poems, listen to songs, addicted to chocolates.
Flight landed on Frankfurt airport. It will be a waiting time of 4 hrs. They had to wait several hours for the next, So both Aryan and Shravanthi spent time on shopping, roaming inside airport. Some of the time, he stared at the planes taxiing by: 747s, A330s; KLM, Northwest, Air China…
Finally they reached Minnesota. Their bags were two of the first five off the carousel. Aryan was looking for a Phone booth.
Srav: Hei it seems like you want to convey the news that you reached safely na?. If so use my mobile.
A: Tx yaar. And you told you want to hear my Niece voice na. So keep it in speaker mode.He was trying to his Dad's mobile and soon the call was picked up.
A: hi Dad.i just reached my place. It was a nice trip.
Dad: Thats good. blah blah blah …….Hei i have a news for you.
Meanwhile Sravanthi asked Aryan to ask his niece to talk.
    A: Anytin spcl Dad?
Dad: Ofcourse. We have seen a girl for you. Her name is Sravanthi working in TCS!!! (Both Aryan and Sravanthi heard this as it is in speaker Mode)
Aryan turned towards Sravanthi and looking her Eyes with a Smile…
Aankon mein Teri Ajab si Ajab si Adhayein hain.
Dil ko banade jo pathank Saase yeh teri woh Hawaye hain :-)
